6 Pack Toys-R-Us Tube

The six pack was a fast way to add six ponies to your growing ponyville. It was only released at Toys-R-Us, and it was released world wide. It features one pony, inparticular, Bay Breeze, who until this release had been a coveted convention exclusive.

Unlike playsets with bonus ponies, who more than not, feature the same old ponies re-released in prior molds, this set featured a whole new six ponies in ponyville form. Ponies who were not as famous as their other ponyville friends, but were just as pretty, if not prettier, as the rest of them.

Valentine's Day Tubes

The Valentine's Day tubes were the 3rd thing released in Ponyville. Other toys were right on the heels of this set, but, it was the next sign that Ponyville was going to happen, and it was coming in a big way. Also, this is one of the very last Target exclusives for the entire My Little Pony line, so far.

The sets each included Three ponies and Three accessories for each pony all themed around Valentine's Day. The ponies featured are miniature versions of previosuly released ponies.

Even though the tubes didn't originally sell for a whole lot, they have reached a desirable status on the collectible market of double their original price.

Minty and Friends

The Holiday Tube debuted and marked the beginning of Ponyville. First came the Christmas Tree, then this. It was exciting, because it was a whole new line, and it brought back around the miniature aspect of petite ponies. While these are much larger than their 80's counterpart, and would follow the Holiday season with great playsets, accessories and interchangable hair... they were a hit, right off the shelf.

Minty and friends was available for two years, and is one of the most sought after sets from the Ponyville line.
